Do you ever take a day off from lifting weights and you wonder what to do? The best thing for you to do is go for a run outside!

It is the way to keep your body active and not just sit around. You may think that your muscles are aching from lifting weights and need some rest. That is partly true, but you can still go for short run or a walk.

And if you had worked out the day before and you do not have much energy, you won’t feel that way after a short run. You may even sweat and burn more calories to get closer to your fitness goals.

Running on treadmills would be fine if you are interested in doing that. But running outside early in the morning is my pick. You can breathe the fresh air, see the sunrise and feel the breeze. The sun won’t have risen very much so you won’t be baking under it. An early run feels quite nice, it clears your mind and energizes you.

You never know during my day off from lifting, I might run into you!
