Yes, that’s right. When the going get’s tough, you need to keep training to achieve your fitness goals. That means no matter what is making it tough, like having to get up early in the morning before work, or having to learn new workouts and lift more, or changing your eating habits, the only way you can do it is with persistence.

It can be a slow process for results to happen. Maybe you’re goals are too big, or your goals are too small, to where you might not feel as if you are making progress. If so, you may need to make changes to your goals.

But being persistent should be a main objective of our goal to be fit.

Think of all the athletes in every sport. Do they have to train and condition their bodies to perform their best in their sports? Of course they do! It may be tough for them, they may want a day off and relax, but that doesn’t happen. They devote their time and energy to the sport. And then for us everyday people, just to be healthy and in shape we need to do the same, keep exercising and working hard, but to a lesser degree.

Having persistence with your decision to be fit is the way to get there. No matter how tired, busy, or stressed out you feel, you can move past it. And when you do, you will feel more awake, energetic, happier, and stronger.

Your fitness aspirations can happen. Are you persistent enough to achieve them?
